GWA-X

Features

GWA-X is a GPU-accelerated package for genome-wide association studies (GWAS). It provides high-performance GPU-accelerated libraries and tools for GWAS with following features:

  • whole-genome regression, accounting for population structure.
    It currently supports quantitative traits and can use covariates or/and prediction file from REGENIE's Step 1 (see --regenie-pred)
  • standard (maxT) permutation tests (adaptive approaches in the future)
  • linear algebra capable in handling very large number of markers and samples (millions to billions) under limited memory resources
  • high-performance and efficient. It is much faster than existing tools and use much less resources. It can also use multiple GPUs.
  • energy and CO2 monitoring for green computing (see --co2)
